A Focus on Future-Proof Efficiency at the Hotel & Resort Innovation Expo
Our UK Direct team recently attended the Hotel & Resort Innovation Expo at the ExCeL in London on 30th September and 1st October. It was Best.Energy’s first time exhibiting at this dynamic industry event, and we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet decision-makers face-to-face in this growing sector. The atmosphere was incredibly vibrant, setting a productive stage for two days of engagement with hoteliers, restaurateurs, and industry specialists.
Strategic Conversations and Award-Winning Solutions
Our stand was a hub for discussions on tangible energy savings. The UK Direct team, including Mark Main, Charlotte Parcel, and Joss Coventry, were on hand to connect with key decision-makers across the hospitality sector. We held many valuable conversations with businesses, both big and small, all focused on how our award-winning energy management system could help them achieve significant operational savings, cut their energy usage, and boost their sustainability commitments.
To add an element of fun and excitement to the event, we added golden tickets to the event bags, which provided visitors with an entry into our free raffle. When the golden tickets were redeemed at our stand, guests were in with a chance of winning a full Eniscope energy management system worth up to £30,000!
We also invited visitors to double their chance of winning by successfully completing our buzz wire competition - a light-hearted challenge that proved very popular and brought out our competitive sides!
Efficiency as the New Energy: Troy’s Keynote
A highlight of the expo was the keynote talk delivered by our CEO, Troy Wrigley, on October 1st. His session, “Efficiency as the New Energy: Your Hotel’s Hidden Advantage,” resonated strongly with the audience attending the expo. Troy articulated how energy efficiency is the most powerful, immediate, and cost-effective tool available for the hospitality industry to enhance profitability and progress towards net zero goals. The key takeaway was that focusing on energy efficiency not only saves money, but also offers a strategic competitive advantage in the sector.
Overall, it was fantastic to make so many high-quality connections at the expo and we’re excited to follow up on the fantastic relationships built over the two busy days at the event, to see what can be achieved through the power of energy efficiency. We look forward to the next event we attend, as we continue to partner with the hospitality sector on its journey toward a more efficient and profitable future.
